Since our establishment, Glenforest Consulting has been dedicated to creating an outstanding public consulting practice in Georgia.

Glenforest Consulting is a local Georgia firm established in 2019 by Brian Beck, who has been collaborating with State of Georgia organizations since 2007. With a strong background in planning and implementing large technology solutions and supporting the formation of new State agencies, Brian has cultivated valuable relationships with State organizations, service providers and management consultants. This experience allows Glenforest Consulting to deliver exceptional services tailored to the needs of State of Georgia clients.

We take a practical approach that focuses on collaboration and proven ideas to help our clients achieve their goals. Our mission is contribute to our clients' success and align with their objectives.

Our team of consultants is both experienced and highly skilled, leveraging a broad network of relationships to ensure the best-qualified individuals are assigned to each project. On average, our consultants possess over 25 years of experience, along with relevant skills and certifications in their respective service areas.

Brian Beck

Founder

Brian brings 30 years of management consulting experience focused on designing and implementing technology and people-driven systems in both commercial and public organizations. With a strong background in information technology systems, he has successfully led Public Sector practices to deliver high-impact transformational solutions that enhance efficiency, optimize resource use, and improve program delivery. Brian is skilled in program and project management, having managed numerous engagements for Georgia programs and overseeing IV&V projects for some of the State of Georgia's largest and most complex initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Bowling Green State University, along with an MBA and a Master's in Finance from Georgia State University.

Jim Poulakos

Jim has over 30 years of consulting experience covering the entire system development lifecycle, from business case creation to operational support. He exemplifies a commitment to providing top-notch services to his clients. Throughout his career, Jim has earned a reputation for his strong work ethic, results-driven consensus building, and exceptional skills in nurturing client relationships. He has focused his efforts on public service clients across the United States, honing specialized expertise in Strategic Planning, facilitation implementation, Independent Verification and Validation, Program/Project Management, and Process Reengineering. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and hails from Atlanta, Georgia.
