Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)
For Georgia’s largest and most critical projects, provided Independent Verification and Validation services. Developed, reviewed, and presented IV&V project plans, schedules, status reports, deliverable reviews, assessment reports, dashboard reports, recommendation action plans, and lessons learned. Through observation and frequent conversations with project team members, agency leadership, related state organizations, as well as communication with federal agencies maintained a clear understanding of project health and proactively communicated key project issues and risks with stakeholders. Performed services on the following projects that had a project cost of 5 to 75 Million dollars.

State Health Benefit Plan
Led the business process documentation project for the Georgia State Health Benefit Plan. Developed Current and Future state business process models that captured current state process and procedures and recommendations for improvements that were subsequently adopted and documented in future state business processes. The end product was business process and procedure documentation for 12 functions and 175 processes.
Public Health & Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
In 2009, led the divestiture of Department of Human Resource Divisions: Behavioral Health and Public Health Divisions. The project established Behavioral Health as a new state agency titled Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Public Health became a Division under Department of Community Health. In 2011, Georgia made the decision to separate Public Health from Community Health and form a standalone Public Health agency. Served as Program Manager for each of these efforts responsible for all aspects of the project including scope management, risk assessment, timeline management, business continuity planning, communications; facilitating the development and maintenance of the project charter, project work plan and transition plan; data analysis and decision support, as well as ensuring that the project was completed on time, within budget, and in the manner approved by the project sponsors. Each program impacted thousands of staff and directly involved over one-hundred staff from multiple state agencies.
