Glenforest Consulting is a local consulting firm founded in 2019 to focus on Healthcare and Public Sector Health and Human Services. We bring a practical approach that emphasizes collaboration and market proven ideas to enable our clients to accomplish results.  We exist to share in our clients success and feel connected to their mission.  

Public Sector Health and Human Services and Healthcare providers participate in related ecosystems interacting frequently with each other and serving many of the same clients.  Our consultants are uniquely qualified to leverage the experiences and opportunities from one industry to the benefit of the other, and while each project is unique we have found there are opportunities to capture incremental value leveraging our broader understanding and practical experience delivering projects for each industry.

Brian serves as a Managing Director at Glenforest Consulting, bringing 28 years of management consulting expertise in designing and implementing technology and people based systems in the commercial and public sector industry.  With an extensive information technology system background, Brian has led Public Sector practices deliver high value transformational solutions to improve efficiency, maximize resource utilization, and increase program delivery.  He has expertise in program and project management, and led multiple engagements for Georgia programs, as well as led IV&V engagements for some of the largest most complex State of Georgia projects.  

Managing Director



Russell serves as Director at Glenforest Consulting.  He has over 15 years of progressive experience focused on healthcare strategy and finance.  He is fascinated with healthcare and how it is delivered, consumed, and paid for and is infinitely curious to how to improve all of the above.  Russell has a background in both healthcare management consulting and in industry, working at one of the largest health systems in the nation.   Experiences in both industry and management consulting, means he can both develop comprehensive strategies for healthcare providers but he also appreciates the detail needed to operationalize these strategies and realize expectations.


Russell has a foundation in strategic finance, project management, financial planning, and operational process improvement in the healthcare space. He has overseen complex initiatives from strategic development through implementation. Some of the areas of his expertise include, advising clients on organizational readiness around risk based population health contracting.  Developing comprehensive strategies for efficient maximization of payer reimbursement. Russell knows healthcare data analytics and couples this with his strategy background.  He has built numerous business cases across specialties to support service line expansion decisions, acquisition due diligence, and created dashboards to highlight performance.  Further, Russell has a deep understanding of healthcare policy and the associated organizational opportunities and risks brought by these changes. 


Russell holds an MBA with Honors with a Concentration in Finance from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
